How to take measurements

How to measure for a flogger (for the person wielding it)

Take a flexible measuring tape and from the top of the shoulder measure the full length of the arm to the fingertips. This measurement will make it the correct length for the person who will wield the flogger.

How to measure for a collar

Take a flexible measuring tape and wrap it around the widest part of your neck. Make sure the tape measure isn’t twisted and is level all the way around and is not too tight or too loose.

If the tape measure is too tight the collar will be too small and if it’s too loose the collar will sit uncomfortably low on the neck and move around.

How to measure for wrist cuffs

Take a flexible measuring tape and wrap it around the wrist at the wrist bones. Make sure the tape measure isn’t twisted and is level all the way around and is not too tight or too loose.

If the tape measure is too tight the cuffs could be uncomfortably tight causing circulation issues and if it’s too loose the cuffs will move around a lot and may slip off.

How to measure for ankle cuffs

Take a flexible measuring tape and wrap it around the ankle just above the bone. Make sure the tape measure isn’t twisted and is level all the way around and is not too tight or too loose.

If the tape measure is too tight the cuffs could be uncomfortably tight causing circulation issues and if it’s too loose the cuffs will slip down and could cause issues with the ankles.
